Titus Flavius Domitianus (Domitian) was Roman Emperor. He was born on 24 October 51 in Rome, Italy. He was the younger son of Vespasian (Roman Emperor) and brother of Titus. While Titus held a great many offices under the rule of his father, Domitian was no responsibilities. Vespasian died in 79. But after his father's death, Titus ruled the Roman, whose own reign came to an unexpected end when he died of fever in 81. Domitian was in power on 14 September 81. Like Caesar Augustus, he attempted a reformation of morals and religion. Titus Flavius Domitianus (Domitian) ruled until murdered on 18 September 96. He was buried at Templum Gentis Flavia, Rome, Italy.
